Billie B. Adams, 77, of Blossom, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2012, at her home.
Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24th, at Evergreen Cemetery with Tom O’Neal officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Adams, the daughter of Emory & Jessie Shires Bridges, was born Jan. 7, 1935, in Lamar County.
She retired from Lone Star Gas Company and then owned and operated Lamar Finance in Paris from 1986-1998. Billie was a member of Bonham Street Church of Christ and the Paris Rodeo & Horse Club.
Her husband, Richard Adams, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Walker of Aubrey, a granddaughter & great grandson, who were the light of her life, Kydie Walker & Dallas Fisher of Blossom, two aunts, Mary Frances Fendley and Eloise Shires both of Paris, her caretakers, Mike & Cyndi Jones of Blossom along with numerous cousins.
Casket bearers will be: Larry Bramhall, Connie Tyson, Gil Flautt, Mike Wright, Jackie Fendley and Steve Fendley.

Marvin Henry Clark, 77, of the Howland Community passed away Monday, October 22, 2012 at his residence.
He was born on December 10, 1934 in Wichita, KS a son of Charles W. and Gracie Wood Clark. He served in the U.S. Army and was retired from G.M.C. He liked old westerns, watching sports, and going to Las Vegas. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father Neal Reynolds, grandson Nathan Allen Clark, and brothers Virgil Clark and Benny Clark.
He is survived by his wife Olive Jane Clark whom he married on June 30, 2001 in Ava, Missouri; children Albert Allen Clark and wife Suzanne, Marilyn Miller and husband Nelson, and Wendel Dee Hoskins and wife Juella; 12 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren; brother John Vernon Clark; sisters Irene Poncia and Loretta Dunaway.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 P.M. Wednesday in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Hoskins officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Korey Miller, KaLynn Miller, Dylan Emerson, Bradley Graham, Nelson Miller, Wendel Hoskins, and Albert Allen Clark. Burial will be at a later date in the Resthaven Cemetery in Wichita, Kansas. Family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M.
