Dorothy Permenter, 73, of Paris passed away Monday, October 15, 2012 at Legend’s Healthcare.
Dorothy was born on July 21, 1939 in Lamar County a daughter of Dennis and Pauline Smith Gordon. She worked for many years at Texas Instruments in Dallas and later at Earthgrains in Paris. She was a member of the Faith Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Paula Gordon, and brother D.M. Gordon.
Survivors include her son Cole Permenter and wife Carolyn; sister Betty Sisson; Sister-in-law Cherri Gordon; step grandsons Joseph Goodman and wife Jodi, Joshua Goodman and wife Ashley; step great-granddaughters Campbell, Neely, and Reagan.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 17, 2012 in the Meadowbrook Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Bill Felts officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:30 P.M. till 2:30 P.M. Wednesday at the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home where online condolences may be sent by visiting www.fry-gibbs.com.
