Prentice Thurman Hall, 80 of Paris, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2012.

Funeral services have been set for Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at Pathway Church of God with Rev. Samuel Evers and Rev. Ray Evers officiating.  Interment, with Military Honors will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Pathway Church of God.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.

He was born in Detroit, Texas on July 17, 1932 to Garland and Emmie Mae Mosley Hall.  He served in the United States Army.  He married Betty Kennemer on July 14, 1957 in Blossom, Texas.  Prentice and Betty were members of Pathway Church of God.

Prentice is survived by his son, Dewayne Hall and wife K’Lynn; granddaughter, Kasie Cody; sisters, Velma Whitley and husband Charlie, Dorothy Kinslow and husband Wendell; brother, Johnny Hall; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Hall; daughter, Carol Hall; parents Garland and Emmie Hall; several brothers.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Jeff Kinslow, Kyle Kinslow, Ricky Bestul, Russell Holland, Larry May, Charlie Packard, Clint Speaks and Steven Moore. Honorary Pallbearers will be the “McDonald’s Breakfast Club”, Wayne Caviness, Jeral Gibson, Don Pryor, Billy Jack Hurley, Bill Arnold and Bob Childress.
