Orville Lee Trammel, 83 of Sumner, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at his home.

Funeral services have been set for Sunday, October 7, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Leslie Chapel Pentecostal Church with Rev. David Farmer officiating.  Interment will follow at Georgia Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Saturday evening at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Trammel; children, Ilene Farmer and husband David, Sondra Wisdom and husband Robert Wayne, Robert Purvis and wife Paula, Raymond Lee Trammel and wife Tanya; son by choice, Ralph McFatridge and wife Janice; grandchildren, Rebecca Aguirre, DeWayne Stephens II, Melissa Stephens Yancey, Hollis Wayne Wisdom, Crystal Wisdom Wafer, Amber Purvis Picota, Amanda Ingram Myers, Amelia JoAnn Purvis, Stormie Trammel, Cayla Trammel, Dalton Trammel; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles Ray Trammel, Henry Trammel; sisters, Eva Jean Randolph, Lorna Turk, Pat Walton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Lee and Mary Trammel; brother, Bill Trammel; sisters, JoAnn Watts, Clara Stormit and Susan Pauley.

Serving as pallbearers will be DeWayne Stephens, Jr., DeWayne Stephens, Sr., Hollis Wisdom, Lee Trammel, Ralph McFatridge and Aaron Myers.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Wilson, Aubrey “Jim” Overturf and Emmitt Landreth.
