J.C. Bledsoe, 69. of Durant, Oklahoma, formerly of Lamar County, passed from this life Monday October 1, 2012 at the Medical Center of Southeast Oklahoma in Durant. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday October 5, 2012 in the chapel of Starrett Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the West Post Oak Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
J.C. was born August 8, 1943 in Celina, Texas, a son of Jim Erman and Zitabelle McFatridge Bledsoe. He attended public schools in Chicota and Celina, and was a retired farm worker. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
J.C. is survived by five children, Jackie Hadel, of Arkansas, Desiree Boger, and Christina Ledezma, both of California; Amy Bledsoe, and C.J. Bledsoe, both of Oklahoma; fourteen grandchildren; four sisters, Mary Ann Short, Betty Jean Loftin, Dorothy Louise Burris, and Maudine Bledsoe; five brothers, David Bledsoe, Kenneth Edward Bledsoe, John Henry Bledsoe, Terry Bledsoe, and Ronny Dale Blesdoe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Named to serve as pallbearers are Jonathan Burris, Erman Bledsoe, Mark Harris, Robby Watkins, Timmy Loftin, Timmy Lester, and Dustin West.

James Michael Sims, 45 of Paris, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2012.
A memorial service has been set for Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at Paris Biker Church located at 3900 S.E. Loop 286. Fry-Gibbs Funeral has charge of arrangements.
He was born in Paris, Texas on May 11, 1967 to J.W. and JoAnne Williams Sims. He attended Paris High School and worked in the masonary business.
He is survived by his spouse, Tamra Cato; children, Deidra Diane Sims and JoAnna Renae Sims; step-children, Ashley Villines, Johnny Villines, Jr., Jerica Villines; grandchildren, Jayden Michael Sims; brothers, Bradley Dewayne Sims, Paul Ryan Sims; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, J.W. Sims on November 21, 1996.

Billie Joe Harris, 65 of Hugo, passed away October 2, 2012 in Hugo, Oklahoma.
Graveside services are set for Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 3:00 P.M.at Highland Cemetery in Deport, Texas with Bro. Jerry Waggoner officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
Billie was born on February 7, 1947 in Deport, Texas to Richard and Robbie Harris. He married Martha Ann Milam on March 12, 1966 in Paris, Texas.
He is survived by his wife Martha Ann Harris; children, Richard Harris and wife Melissa, Tommy Harris and wife Tina, Jerry Harris and wife Julia, Loretta Walter and husband Bill, Tina Gilbert and husband Daryl; 17 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 brother; 6 sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Robbie Harris and 1 brother.

Annie R. Stanforth, 87 of Paris, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2012.
Funeral services have been set for Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 11:00 A.M at Hill Crest Funeral Home in Haughton, Louisiana with Rev. Casey Hough officiating. Interment to follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. No visitation has been scheduled.
She was a devoted Baptist, wife and mother who enjoyed church activities, gardening and reading. Her sharp whit, loving Southern-style spirit and devoted love to her family and friends will be missed, but the Lord needed another angel to assist Him and we know He picked her.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Lewis and John Biard, Linda Prince; granddaughter, Jessica Payne and husband J.T.; great-grandson, Nate; sister, Margaret Allen and husband Lamar; brothers, Charles Fuller and wife Mildred, Joe Fuller and wife Laura; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by husband, Gerald Lee Stanforth; parents, William and Gertrude Fuller and many siblings.
