PEGGY M. MILLS, 86, of Paris, passed from this life Monday September 10, 2012 at Paris Regional Medical Center South. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday September 13, 2012 in the chapel of Starrett Funeral Home, with Rev. Ben Read officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.
Peggy was born September 21, 1925 in Williamson, West Virginia to O.T. (Jack) and Betty McClure Maynard. She was raised by Betty and a step-father, A.L. (Red) Woodward, in Ft. Worth. She married Robert M. (Bob) Mills on October 31, 1947 in Ft. Worth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Bob; and her beloved aunt Mary Esther Cunningham.
Peggy is survived by her daughter, Marsha (Candy) Jones and husband Tom, of Sumner; a son, H.A. (Buddy) Mills and wife Marcia, of Ft. Worth; grandchildren Jason and Jennifer Jones, of Merit, Marshall and Amber Jones, of McKinney, Ashlee and Frank Bellucci, Whitney and Brad Turner and Tanner M. Mills, all of Ft. Worth; by six great-grandchildren; a sister, Yvonne Scott, of Hemet, California; and a beloved aunt, Helen McClure, of Barboursville, West Virginia.

Reverend William R. McCall, 92, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away Saturday September 8, 2012 in a local health care facility.
He was the son of the late Virginia Dora Perkins McCall and James Duncan McCall. His wife of over 60 years, Frances Jane Baker McCall and his sisters, Wilma Faye Duranceau and Bennie Curry Ashworth also preceded him in death.
He and his wife were long-term Church of God missionaries who served over 35 years in Honduras, Guatemala, Jamaica, Panama and throughout Central America. He was an Ordained Bishop of the Church of God over 65 years serving as an evangelist, pastor, missionary and educator.
He received his Associate’s Degree from Lee College (now Lee University), Cleveland, Tennessee; his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Trinity University, San Antonio, Texas and an honorary Doctor of Divinity from the Colegio Biblico Pentecostal de Puerto Rico.
He was a proud U S Navy veteran of World War II and was a former member of the Cleveland Amateur Radio Club.
Reverend McCall is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Lynn McCall of Cleveland, Tennessee and Mack and Raquel McCall of Friendswood, Texas, four grand-children, R. Stephen and Misty McCall, William Christopher and Kimberly McCall, Angela and Ryan Cochran and Paul and Emily McCall. Plus 12 great-grandchildren: Jacob, Mckenna, Reed, Gage, Jessica, Reiley, Anna, Abigail, Joshua, Elizabeth, Ella and Nora.
In addition, he is survived by one sister Queen Esther Stringer of Lufkin, Texas and one brother David McCall and his wife Louise of Orangeburg, South Carolina and a host of nieces and nephews.
The Celebration of Life and Ministry service in Cleveland, Tennessee will be held at the Westmore Church of God at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 11, 2012 with Dr. Tim Hill, Dr. Roland Vaughan, Dr. Rigoberto Ramos, Pastors Wendell Smith and Kelvin Page officiating. The Westmore Sanctuary Sunday School Class has been asked to serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 11:00 A.M. before the service.
An additional Celebration of Life and Ministry will be held at the Paris, Texas Church of God, West Bonham Street, on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 1:00 P. M. C.S.T. with Dr. Robert White and Pastor Douglas Holt officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 C. S. T. at the Paris, Texas Church of God on Thursday. Interment will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Paris, Texas.
