Dorothy Jeanne Olson, 87, of Paris, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2012, at Paris Regional Medical Center.  A Gathering of Family and Friends has been scheduled for 4:00 pm, Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Reverend Brad Crosswhite officiating.

Mrs. Olson was born November 28, 1924 in Hampshire, IL to Clyde Orlo Waidman and May Barnes Waidman.  She loved cooking, working with crafts and flowers and going to the casino.

Mrs. Olson was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clinton Olson; one son, Ron Olson and one granddaughter, Alicia Garcia Chamberlain.

Survivors include her daughter, Melodee Garcia & husband Eusebio (Jack); grandchildren, Thomas Garcia & wife Karen of Reno, Abran Garcia & wife Raina of Maxey, Rebecca Little & husband Ryan of Reno and Amy Dillard & husband Ben of Paris; 9 great-grandchildren; special friends, Dick & Sharon Severson, as well as many other good friends.

Donald Floyd Jackson, 77 of Paris, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2012.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Davis officiating.  Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Cunningham, Texas.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday evening.

He is survived by his children, Donna Gilbert and husband Danny, Rick Jackson and wife Pam, Trina Coker and husband Kevin; grandchildren, Michelle Thoms and husband Jason, Shanda Jackson and husband Kevin, Tera and Taylor Howard; great-grandchildren, Brandon and Brody Thoms, Madison and Mackenzie Jackson; brothers, Leon Jackson, R.D. Jackson and Danny Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Jackson; parents, Amos and Velma Scoggins Jackson; sister, Beverly Kay.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Brandon Thoms, Ron Howard, Barry McClour, Ray Norris, Raymond Wisham and Aaron Fox.
