BETTY HENRY CAFFEE, 82, of Paris, died at 1:35 PM, Monday, August 20, 2012 at Paris Regional Medical Center-South. Funeral services are set for 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 25, 2012 in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Norris officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time prior to the service on Saturday. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
She was born May 10, 1930, the daughter of Guy and Clara Pope Henry. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ricky Forshee on September 3, 1981; her husband, Frank Caffee on June 9, 1987; and a brother, Robert Henry in June of 1988.
She is survived by one brother, Eddie Henry; nieces, Cyndi Hignight and husband, Steve, Stella Arrasmith and husband, Roy, and Vicki Campbell; nephew, Eddie Albert Henry; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and her very special friend, Betty Pitts.
She loved the Lord, her church and her many friends. She was a member of Seventh Street Baptist Church and Southside Baptist Church for 55 years. She sang in the choir and was a member of the Esther Sunday School class. She was an Avon representative for 56 years.
Serving as pallbearers are Stephen “Red” Holmes, Jason Cullum, Art Jones, Thomas Roach, Robert Skidmore, and Anthony Croff.
