Danielle Rinea Weatherford, 22, of Powderly, went walking & dancing in Heaven with her Lord on June 28, 2012. She passed from this life into Glory at Medical City in Richardson while surrounded by a host of family & friends.
Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 10:00 a.m. Sunday, July 1st, at the United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Robert Myre officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
She was born March 16, 1990, in Paris to Debra Ausmus Monkres and Dale Weatherford. Danielle was our bright shooting star, a brilliant magnificent light for everyone to see, which faded too soon, but forever in our memories.
She was a North Lamar Texas Scholar graduate of 2008, and attended Paris Junior College for two years and was transferring to Texas A&M University in Commerce for the fall semester. Her goal was to graduate with a degree in computer graphics.
Her hobbies & interests included dogs, various other pets, showing horses, her favorites were her horse “Danny” and dog “Little Girl”, fishing, socializing, facebooking, texting, gardening and other outdoor activities – Shopping!!!!
Survivors include her mother & step father, Debra & Steve Monkres, father, Dale Weatherford, grandparents, “Memaw” Geraldine Ausmus & “Grandad” Charles Ausmus – dedicating unselfishly a better part of their lives to ensure a full & successful life for Danielle, also grandparents, Jimmie & Minnie Weatherford, sisters, Samantha Flippen & Dana Weatherford, brothers, Peyton Flippen & Darrel Weatherford & Amanda, step-sisters, Shelbie Monkres & Sarah Monkres, aunts & uncles, Cynthia & Rickey Brown, Chuck & Rima Ausmus, Leann & Lee Yarbrough, Patricia & Thomas King, and Brenda & Gerald Weatherford, along with many cousins and friends.
Casket bearers will be: Lee Yarbrough, Cody Covey, Chuck Ausmus and Rickey Brown. Honorary bearers will be: Dusty Brown, Chad Fleming, Jessie Goforth and Toby Archer.
