NLHS McReynolds Holds on to State Title

Kade Kirby and Tristan McReynoldsTwo seniors from North Lamar High School were among those who placed at the State USA Skills Contest that was held in Corpus Christi, Texas, March 27-29.

Tristan McReynolds, right, held on to the State Champion title in Outdoor Power Equipment after taking first for the second year in a row.  He will represent North Lamar and the state of Texas at the National Skills USA Contest in Kansas City in June.  Earning a second place at state as a freshman, McReynolds has been to the state contest for four consecutive years.  This will be his second year to the national competition.  Billy Copeland is his sponsor.
