Paris Kiwanis Club Donates Children's Books to Downtown Food Pantry

Last Saturday, the Paris Kiwanis Club, on behalf of the Paris Kiwanis Imagination Library Program, donated 56 early childhood reading books to the Downtown Food Pantry. The Imagination Library is a program which provides free books to children age Birth to 5 years old in Lamar County. The book’s will be given to the children of the clients of the Downtown Food Pantry.

The members of the Paris Kiwanis Club, along with members of the Paris HS Key Club, stocked shelves at the Food Pantry on Feb 15th.  The club has committed to stocking shelves every month on the 3rd Saturday. We will be involving all of our youth programs: Paris HS Key Club, Chisum HS Key Club, N Lamar HS Key Club, and Paris JHS Builders Club.
