Fundraising Fun benefiting Relay for Life for the whole family AND your dog

Mark your calendar for June 2nd.  The EXCELerators are hosting a Run 4 a Cure 5K Marathon, 2 mile walk, and a 1 mile ‘kids fun run’.

The event will be held at the Love Civic Center Pavilion at 8:00am.  Children 10 and under are free, but a parent must be present and a registration form filled out.  The fee is $25 for the 5K and/or 2 mile walk.  All proceeds benefit Lamar County Relay for Life being held on June 29 and June 30.

There will also be Relay for Life teams set up selling items, as well as a bounce house for the little ones.  Another attraction and fun fundraising opportunity is Paris Regional Medical Center’s Bark for Life, which will be held after the run/walk, along with other activities.

PRMC’s Bark for Life is a fundraising event honoring the life-long contribution for our Canine Caregivers.

We all know how important and personally healing a relationship with the family dog can be, especially during times of a struggle.  This is an opportunity to let the ‘doggies’ help the cause too.

Every family member, co-worker, friend, or community member who has been close to a cancer experience and has a dog in their life, is invited to support the American Cancer Society by registering and fundraising through PRMC’s Bark for Life.  Registration for each dog is $10 and $5 for each additional dog owner.  There will be prizes awarded to dogs and their owners in different areas.  You can register that day (June 2nd) at 9:30am at the Love Civic Center Pavilion.

ALL DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH!

All proceeds benefit American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
