Summer Camps – PART III – Texas Tumbling & Trampoline

From the Mommy Desk….

Jenny Wilson

Don’t let your kids tell you “I’m Bored” this summer. Texas, Tumbling & Trampoline (3TI) is offering some fun camps this summer.

First, is a skills camp for ages 3 and up called 3TI Olympic Camp.  This camp, the week of June 18th-21st from 8am-noon will offer trampoline, tumbling, and cheer all in one big camp.  The cost is $80 and you can register by calling 903-739-9140.  This camp is great for little boys too!

If you are looking for a summer-long option, 3TI has a JPK Summer Day Camp for ages 4 & up. Your kids can attend either full time or part-time.  This day camp includes fun field trips including trips to Jan Kay Ranch, Hawaiian Falls Water Park and the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus.  Also in that camp, the kids have their own 3TI Olympic Games where all of the kids can participate in a wide variety of contests (not all of them athletic contests) and win great prizes.  They also will be having break-out sessions this year where each student can individualize their camp experience by selecting one of several topics to learn more about, like scrapbooking, photography, mosaics, soccer, etc.    In addition, the summer day camp has learning units that include character building and team work and new this year will be the history of Paris.

Last but not least, 3TI still has regular classes over the summer including a day time Mommy & Me where your preschooler can come and play in the gym with adult supervision.  3TI offers a punch card system in the summer for those that plan to be out of town and can’t make it all of the time.  With the punch cards, you can purchase your classes (minimum of 6) over the summer and you can come to your normally scheduled class when you can make it over the course of the summer.  This gives families the freedom to not be tied down paying for a class they can’t attend regularly, but keeps the child from losing skills over the summer.

So turn off the TV, video games, and iphones and head over to 3TI for some active, summer fun! 3TI is located at 4820 Lamar Avenue in Paris (towards Reno).
