Did the mafia kill Kennedy? Author, historian Jim Gatewood to speak at noon today about assassination
Did the mafia kill Kennedy? Dallas historian, speaker and best-selling author, Jim Gatewood, says he believes so, and will talk about it at noon today to the Rotary Club of Paris.
Gatewood, author of eight published books — two of which are about JFK’s assassination — and founder of the Dallas County Assassination Review Board, will speak about Dallas’ rich history and expand on the topic of the Kennedy assassination.
“[Gatewood] came to address our club a couple of years ago,” Rotarian Chris Snodgrass said in an email. “Everybody said it was one of our all-time greatest programs!”
As the author of John F. Kennedy Assassination a Mafia Conspiracy (2008) and JFK Assassination Report of the Citizen’s Commission (2013), Gatewood has done thorough research on the topic and has reached the conclusion that organized crime and the mafia are responsible for the tragedy.
As founder of the Dallas County Assassination Review Board, Gatewood has spent more than a decade gathering people’s stories and experiences from Nov. 22, 1963 and the events that occurred in the wake of the assassination.
According to the Texas Speakers Bureau website, “…Gatewood delivers a chilling account of what has been reported to the review board.”
Gatewood’s presentation to the Rotary Club will be at noon on Friday, April 4, at the Paris Junior College Ballroom. Rotarians are encouraged to bring guests, and the public is welcome to attend.
Whether a Kennedy assassination conspiracy theorist or not, people will find this a very interesting presentation they won’t want to miss.
