The City of Paris is reminding all candidates running for public office to direct their campaign personnel and affiliates to follow all “Political Sign Guidelines” as outlined by state law and city ordinances.
Signs are not to be placed within the Right-of-Way of any public street or public property (the Right-of-Way line is approximately eleven feet behind the curb or edge of pavement).
Other guidelines for Political Signs are as follows:
Any sign violating State Law or City Ordinance may be subject to violation notices, fines, or removal by Code Enforcement.
