Maurice's is holding a Halloween Costume Drive for children in foster care, Bring your costume for those in need

What are you going to be for Halloween?

Many children are having that thought right now.  Some will decide and get to choose a costume, however, some will not.  But there are things that you can do to help those less fortunate get to be what they want for Halloween.

Hundreds of children in foster homes across Lamar County cannot afford the luxury and fun of ‘dressing up’ for Halloween.

Maurice’s is accepting donations of ‘gently used’ Halloween costumes to benefit children placed in foster care.

They will take any kind of Halloween costumes and/or masks — sizes ranging from toddlers to about 12 years of age.  Maurice’s will also accept unopened, non-perishable bags of candy.

These donations will be accepted from now, up until Saturday, October 13.  Please take your donations to Maurice’s in the Paris Towne Center — formerly Mirabeau Square, 3510 Lamar Avenue, Paris Texas.

Now, check this out, for every costume donated — or for every approximate 3 bags of candy — you will earn a 20%-off coupon.

There is a limit of 10 coupons in one day, but you can use 3 of them per transaction per day, and that’s potentially 60% off!

Remember how fun it was to dress up in your favorite character costume when you were a child; the thrill of ‘trick-or-treating’.  Help those hundreds of children in foster care have the same joy.  You have until Saturday to bring your donations.
