PCT receives BIG GRANT from Paris Main Street
A check for $1008 was granted yesterday to the PCT board members from the Paris Main Street program BIG grant for a new sign for the PCT Brown Centre for Creative Arts, located at 115 Clarksville street. This building is used for all children’s classes and rehearsals as well as housing the costumes used in PCT mainstage productions.
PCT applied for the grant in July of 2013. The PCT sought a design rendering from the Texas Main Street Program design professionals, and were very pleased with the rendering. TMSP was asked to design signage to reflect the connection to the Plaza Theatre with the Brown Center for the creative arts. Several drawings were sent back from Austin for the PCT board to review. One stood out in particular as shown in this picture. Paris Main Street advisory board and committees members gathered to celebrate this signage and award the funds to the board members.
