80’s Sitcom star, known for role in classic show "Growing Pains", performing 2 nights in Paris
Known as the loveable “Coach Lubbock” from the TV sitcom Growing Pains, Bill Kirchenbauer (kirk-in-bower) performs two nights this weekend at LMAO Comedy in Downtown Paris. After several seasons with “Growing Pains” Bill, was given his own series to star in from ABC as a spin off called “Just the 10 of Us” where his character Coach Lubbock and his wife raised 8 children on a modest private school coach’s salary.
Kirchenbauer has been on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, David Letterman, Jay Leno, and many other late night appearances. Bill, was one of Johnny’s favorites, and returned many time. Bill has enjoyed the Big Screen in movies like “Airplane” and “The Story of Us” and others. Recently Kirchenbauer has returned to acting and stand up Comedy, and has been on “Suite Life of Zack and Cody”, “Fraizer” and countless others.
Opening for the Sitcom star is another seasoned vet Andy Huggins. Andy was recently featured on the documentary “American: The Bill Hicks Story”, as Andy worked on the road with Bill Hicks, and Sam Kinison as one of the original Texas Outlaws.
