Local comedy and music give Parisians something to do this New Year's Eve

For the ones who want to get out on New Year’s Eve and celebrate the beginning of the new year, live music and comedy performances are happening all around Paris and the surrounding area. FelsbergColor-300x225

Local comedian Daryl Felsberg is headlining a comedy show at his LMAO Comedy club located in Downtown Paris. The comedy show is co-headlined by Felsberg and Jose Sarduy from “GI’s of Comedy”, the latter which has been seen on The Today Show and Anderson Cooper. Emcee and host for the evening is Paris local comic J.D. Marrs.

Alex Addy & The Tambourine Machine will be headlining their performance at Red River Saloon, located inside the Ramada Inn, with The Draggin’ Man band opening the show. Red River Saloon is offering a free champagne toast to all patrons who attend.

Alex Addy & The Tambourine Machine are lead singer and guitarist Alex Addy, bassist Kenneth Thornhill, and drummer Clint Lumpkin. Openers The Draggin’ Man is lead vocalist and guitarist Josh Allen of eParis, bassist Jay Curt McKee, drummer Connor Pickle, and percussionist Chris Mead.

Local deejay DJ A.O.C. will be manning the turntables once again for the New Year’s Eve Rap Banger’s Ball event at Three Brothers Drafthouse in Sun Valley, Texas. The event will feature talent from all around the Paris area, including two out-of-state rappers.

Performing will be locals Mic Manik, A.D. Garcia, Cha Da Thow’d, J-Rec, Leck Jr., Mr. A.O.C., I’m TooFresh, Jay Fish, Dino Penny, Matt Legacy, and more. Tennessee rapper JellyRoll and Oklahoma’s Still Kuntry will also be on the bill for the evening.

There will also be a rock show at The Depot for New Year’s Eve. Locals Fallen will be headlining the New Year’s Bash Live with Hardtimes and Tyler’s Trust/Not. Tickets are $10 per person and $15 per couple.
