Stone Roosevelt, Alex Addy & the Tambourine Machine Pack the Depot for Chad Lindsay's Birthday Celebration

Local My Rock, 96.5, radio personality, Chad Lindsay, celebrated his birthday over the weekend at the Depot.  He had a lot of people turn out for the celebration and great entertaining bands to make the night special.

Alex Addy & the Tambourine Machine always deliver a smashing performance and nothing was different about their opening performance on Saturday night.  They were the main support for headlining act, Stone Roosevelt.  Their set included a lot of their original tunes, as well as notable covers and spectacular stage antics that will certainly grab you at every Tambourine Machine show.

The band has went through several line up changes recently, as they’ve not been able to find a consistent guitar player yet. However, this does not effect their performances and with a rhythm section like that provided by the full bass of Kenneth Thornhill, and the drums of Clint Lumpkin, Alex is plenty for the perfect sound as the single guitar player and frontman for the group — no one else needed.

Stone Rosevelt, local alt-country, rock band, headlined the evening with a very original set list, comprised of unique songwriting and some covers, including songs by U2.  In the band is Chad Farris, Chris Shoemate, Ben Alsup, and Nick Burton.

The band has a variety of influences that span from Nirvana and the Stone Temple Pilots to Van Halen and Eric Clapton, Rush and other progressive bands.  Chris Shoemate, the band’s lead guitarist, delivered a outstanding guitar performance to compliment the band and Farris’ grungy vocals.

They wear their influences proudly on the stage and they beam from their energetic performances.

When asked if it had been a good birthday party, the My Rock 96.5 DJ responded, “It’s been great”.
