That Guy’s Coffee showcases Paris singer-songwriters

That Guy’s Coffee & Listening Room is known around town for having the best, and most intimate, concerts in Paris.  Usually featuring artists that don’t usually play here, or that you might have to travel out of town to see.

Many great artists have entertained patrons at That Guy’s, such as, Cas Haley, Travis Brink, Lisa Morales, the E-Flat Porch Band, Brock Garrison, Michael O’Neal, and many others.

When you add the spectacular coffee that is roasted right there, in-house, the fact that it’s BYOB, and the mouth watering pecan waffles, you’ve a recipe for a great night.  This Saturday is no different.

On August 4, 2012, the Listening Room will feature some great songwriters who, being from the Paris area, may call this somewhat of a homecoming.  They have been practicing their art all over the place.

Tyler Merriman, a Paris High School graduate that is now stationed in Austin, TX working in a renowned studio and writing music for his band The Antiques, Lake Montgomery, a young songwriter who has moved her act to Amsterdam — where she performs songs about Paris Texas and has been hailed by some critics to have a voice that competes with blues greats of the past, and Elle Hussey, who is also from Paris, but now studies songwriting at Belmont University in Nashville, writes amazing original songs, and has recently gotten a ‘call back’ from the national hit television show, the Voice, will all three be at That Guy’s Listening Room this Saturday night.

As always, the Listening Room will give the artists the ultimate performing environment with true listeners in the seats before them.  This means that the performers will likely give you the best show you could ask for.  Get your tickets now.
