Paris in iPhoneography – Another One for the Picture Books

It’s been awhile since we’ve posted another round of the fabulous iPhone photos of our beautiful town.  To start off this week I’ve decided it’s time.  The next round will come on Memorial Day.

These shots were taken by Paris in iPhoneography contributor, Danci Smith.  They will feature not just beautiful structures of the town, but also things that aren’t usually seen on your everyday voyages.  There are even some pictures of some rather funny, and inspirational sayings written amongst the town — right or wrong, it’s there.

Some of the things you’ll find written in the photos are insightful and interesting to say the least.  Just to name a few:

Never trust happiness“, “Sometimes you need to let things go!“, and interestingly enough, “In order to live a creative ‘live’, we must lose our fear of being ‘wrong’.

The best one though, “The slogan that rebuilt the city of Paris in twelve months: Smile!”  The sign with this slogan on it was the first sign erected in the city of Paris the morning after the city was destroyed but the Great Fire of 1916 — inspiring.

Now, let’s celebrate Paris with modern, yet beautiful art in photography.  The picture gallery is below.  Look out of the quotes and sayings in the photos.  Remember, if you have comments or suggestions about this article, or even photos that you’d like featured in the ‘Paris in iPhoneography‘ series (iPhone only please), send them to josh@eparistexas.com.  We’d love to hear your comments.  Thanks for reading the Extra!
