Paris ISD Awarded Silver Leadership Circle Award from Texas Comptroller

The State of Texas Comptroller’s Office recently awarded school districts and other governmental organizations across the state for their efforts to meet a high standard of financial transparency online.  Paris ISD was awarded the Silver Leadership Circle Award in recognition of the district’s transparency in financial reporting.

image005This award is valid for one year and will be added to the district’s listing on the Texas Transparency website.

The Comptroller’s Leadership Circle program was launched in 2009 to recognize local governments across Texas that are striving to meet a high standard for financial transparency online. They spotlight local governments that: open their books to the public; provide clear, consistent pictures of spending; and share information in a user-friendly format that lets taxpayers easily drill down for more information.

Paris ISD’s budget and financial information can be viewed by clicking HERE. This will direct you to the Paris ISD Business and Finance webpage.

In addition to the Silver Leadership Circle Award, Paris ISD earned a rating of Superior Achievement on the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST).
