The students enjoyed looking at and asking questions about the white table she had as a visual display.
The book, America’s White Table is set in many mess halls as a symbol for and remembrance to service members fallen, missing, or held captive in the line of duty. Solitary and solemn, is the table where no one will ever sit.
“This year they are doing a night of comedic ‘one acts’,” Mary Golden-Musick of Chisum ISD said. “The night is being called ‘A Night of Funny Fright’.”
The two plays are titled “Ha-Ha House” and “Cheating Death”.
“Both plays are thrilling comedies and appropriate for all ages,” she said. “It will be a great evening of entertainment.”
Be sure and bring your kids in their Halloween costumes before you go trick or treating. After the play children can take their photos with their favorite characters from the play in front of a spooky backdrop for $2.
