Thursday night turned out to be a great night for Prairiland FFA, as Chelsea Kimberling was elected by the delegates to serve as the new Paris District Vice President for the upcoming 2012-2013. She will now represent about 21 different schools in The Paris District. Some of her duties will require her to organize and plan for camps and conventions as well as building important leadership skills. The Prairiland FFA Talent team also prevailed with a win taking home 1st place out of a total of ten teams. The talent team will now advance to the Area Convention to represent Paris District at the Kilgore Junior College on February 20th at 2 p.m. Jared Bolin finished up his year of serving as Advisor for the Paris District officers for the year 2011-2012. He has represented the District well, just as Chelsea will do this upcoming year.
