Paris Junior College is pleased to introduce a fitness swim class beginning Friday, Feb. 5 that is designed to improve efficiency and endurance through drill, sprints, and timed and distance swims.
Planned workouts consist of 1,000-2,500 yards and will include four basic swim strokes: freestyle, back stroke, breast stroke, and butterfly.
“Though participants are not required to have an understanding of all the strokes to participate, some swimming ability is required,” said Bedford. “It is recommended that students are able to swim at least one length of the pool freestyle.”
