Red Ribbon Week is a nationally recognized campaign that brings millions of people together to raise awareness on alcohol, tobacco and other drug abuse and violence prevention, early prevention and treatment services. Paris Independent School District will observe Red Ribbon Week Oct. 28 through Nov. 1, 2013. Talk to your child about drugs today, and help them pin on a red ribbon each day to demonstrate your commitment to supporting a drug-free lifestyle. Surveys show that children whose parents warn them about the dangers of alcohol and other drugs are less likely to use them. For more information, contact your school counselor today.
