The Paris Independent School District (ISD) Board of Trustees has employed Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Executive Search Services to assist with the search for a new superintendent to replace Paul Trull who is retiring from Paris ISD. The Board has requested that school personnel and the public be involved in developing the qualifications and characteristics of the person the Board should seek to become the new superintendent.
Community involvement meetings will be held Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012. The TASB search consultant will facilitate discussions with community members. The schedule of these meetings is as follows:
Paris High School Library (2255 South Collegiate)
10:00 - 10:45 - Any District Employee
11:00 – 11:45 - Paris High School student council officers and class officers of each respective class at PHS
Administration Building (1920 Clarksville Street)
1:30 - 2:15 - Any District Employee
2:30 – 3:15 - Open to the Public
3:15 – 4:00 - Open to the Public
4:00 - 4:45 - Any District Employee
4:45 - 5:30 - Any District Employee
5:30 - 6:30 - School Board Special Meeting
6:30 – 7:15 - Open to the Public
The Paris ISD Board president encourages all members of the community to attend and share their thoughts and insights. Even though meetings are designated for specific groups, each meeting is open to any interested person who wishes to attend.
