In the three days North Lamar spent at the contest, they accumulated 38 hours of competition and 59 total rounds of 11 different events.
To advance to nationals, students had to place in the top three spots. Cody Eilrich placed second in Extemporaneous Speaking, Ryan Conner placed third in Extemporaneous Speaking and Student Congress, and Kelsey Preston placed third in Humorous Interpretation.
The students are coached by Kristi Hodgkiss.
