Third graders in Laura Fendley’s class at Everett Elementary share iPads to study the solar systems. The class received two iPads in December and has used them to gather information on each planet, watch videos from NASA, study solar flares, and take a tour of a space shuttle given by an astronaut while in space. By manipulating the educational sites on their own, the students can branch out and share what they learn with their classmates.
