North Lamar High School attended the Princeton UIL Academic Meet on Saturday, January 12, to leave with four first place ribbons.
The North Lamar winners were Ethan Carter in Literary Criticism and Cody Eilrich in Prose and Persuasive Speaking, along with the team of Eilrich and Kelsey Preston who placed first in Cross Examination Debate. Preston also placed fourth in Prose, sixth in Informative Speaking, and sixth in Humorous Interpretation.
North Lamar placed second overall at the meet.
