Parker GT students prepare artwork for NLEF Scholarship fundraiser

Parker Gifted and Talented students are busy making pennants, jerseys, and posters using their favorite college names, colors, and mascots.  The projects will be displayed at the North Lamar Education Foundation (NLEF) Tailgate Scholarship Fundraiser on October 20 at the Love Civic Center beginning at 6:30 p.m.  College and university alumni and fans will cheer for their alma maters while sampling popular tailgate cuisine to raise money for North Lamar scholarships.   Sport fans will enjoy watching football on the big screens.

All are invited to attend this fun event!  Advanced tickets may be purchased at any campus or the NLISD Administration Building for $20 (adults) or $10 (students).  At the door, tickets will be $25 and $15.  Sponsorships are available by calling 903.669.0115 and must be in by October 15 to be included in the program.
