Chisum High School sent two sophmores to the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Seminar (HOBY TX North) held at TCU in Ft. Worth May 17 – 20th, 2012.
Chisum ISD sends at least two student each year to the seminar. This year the students were able to SKYPE with Mr. Hugh O’Brian himself. It was very motivating for the youth! He has challenged each student to raise at least $350 to send even more students to the seminar next year.

These girls are super excited from the motivation that they received during the seminar. They are already making plans to meet with the superintendent, Mrs. Stegall, about ways to raise the funds needed to send even more students next year.
The leadership skills, motivation to accomplish their dreams, public speaking abilities, and etc. that they come home with from HOBY are amazing! Randi’s plans for the coming year are to participate in at least 100 hours of community service and return next year as a Junior Facilitator.
