Chisum Independent School District has two at-large seats on the school board up for election this year.
The seats are currently held by Jimmy Caffee and Travis Ball. So far, five candidates have signed up to run — Caffee, Jim Newman, Kerry Washington, Randy Armstrong and Matt Patterson.
School board elections are slated for May 11. Candidates have until 5 p.m. Friday to file.
