Tommy Chalaire
The Chisum ISD Board of Trustees — in a special meeting on Monday — have named Assistant Superintendent, Tommy Chalaire, as the lone finalist in the district’s superintendent search.
Following state law, there will now be a 21-day waiting period before the board will meet again to vote on offering Chalaire the contract.
Chalaire is to replace former Superintendent Diane Stegall, after a divided board accepted her resignation on February 11.
