This past weekend, the Chisum Beta Club attended the state convention in Austin. The Quiz Bowl Team placed first in the state of Texas.
Team members were to answer a variety of questions from math, science, fine arts, literature, culture, sports etc.
Team members include (left to right) Cody Vorwerk, Anna Preston (team captain), John Herrmann, and Zac Gillen. With the win, the team has qualified for national competition in June at the National Beta Club Convention in Mobile, Alabama.
