Peoples Bank recently named David T. Eisele to its Board of Directors, joining Chairman and CEO Ronald E. Abbott, President Terry L. Christian, Executive Vice President T. Bradley Perry and Directors John Miles and Don McCaskill.
Eisele was born in Houston, Texas and raised in Dallas. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance Management from East Texas State University, now Texas A&M University-Commerce, preparing him to begin his career in healthcare as a financial analyst. His years spent with St. Joseph’s Hospital and Health Center led him to his current position as the Administrator of Paris Orthopedic Clinic, P.A.
Eisele finds involvement in the community of utmost importance. He is a 23-year member and former president of the Greater Paris Rotary Club, and was also on the board of directors for Camp RYLA, a leadership camp for high school juniors, for the past 14 years. Eisele spent 12 years serving as a Board Trustee of the Paris Independent School District with six of those years serving as the President. His son, Rogan, and daughter, Raegan, both graduated from Paris High School.
“I am excited to be joining Peoples Bank of Paris, one of the strongest community banks in Texas, and I look forward to working with this group of Directors,” Eisele said. “A community bank, such as Peoples Bank, benefits from a board of directors that brings knowledge about the local markets as well as a strong business sense to the board.”
Eisele joins the board as one of three new members, bringing his expertise to the group.
“I feel like we understand the northeast Texas market and that will be beneficial in helping Peoples Bank continue to serve the needs of our customers and our community” Eisele said.
“The board holds great responsibility and has a fiduciary responsibility to the shareholders. The board will recruit local business and oversee bank policies, procedures, strategic planning and management,” Abbott said.
Peoples Bank was formed in 1988 and now has three locations in Paris.
