The two classic kids characters, Tinker Bell and Peter Pan, stopped in for two visits at Paris Baby in downtown Paris on Saturday for story time and photos with the children.
Being the last of the three ‘kids’ character’ story time events of the summer, many children of all ages and their families came to visit with Peter Pan and Tinker Bell.
“Cowgirl Jessie and Captain America each visited us in June and July,” Paris Baby co-owner, Melissa Gordon, said.
This event was free for the children and it was open to the public. Each child had the opportunity to meet and interact with both characters.
To add to the fun and festivities, Paris Baby provided coloring books, cotton candy and balloons also free of charge for the children. Fairy wings and wands for the girls were available, along with eye patches and swords for the boys.
Tara Swain Photography provided professional photography services for story time, offering packages that included five of her edited photos of the child with Tinker Bell and Peter Pan for those interested.
Each story time on Saturday — one at 10:30 a.m. and one at 1:30 p.m. — lasted around 20-30 minutes and all ages were welcome to dress up and attend.
“We were super excited about this one with the two characters on site,” Gordon said. “We had an awesome story time with Peter Pan and Tinker Bell.”
Paris Baby also had an Instagram contest for their followers on the app. The winner was announced on Saturday at story time. Winners were awarded prizes from the store.
