Paris police detectives executed a search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of Southeast 16th Street on Sunday and arrested two men after finding marijuana and methamphetamine, police department spokesman Curtis Garrett said.
Keith Emery Yarbrough, 34, and Dalton Morgan Freeman, 27, both of 216 SE 16th St., were taken into custody and transferred to the Lamar County Jail.
Yarbrough was charged with manufacture or delivery of more than one gram and less than four grams of methamphetamine and possession of less than two ounces of marijuana. He was held on bond of $10,000 on the first charge and $1,000 on the second charge.
Freeman was charged with possession of less than two ounces of marijuana and was released after posting $1,500 bond.
Over the 72-hour weekend, Paris police responded to 308 calls, resulting in the arrest of 22 individuals.
Among the arrests was a 38-year-old woman taken into custody in the 300 block of Northeast 11th Street. During the booking process, she told officers she had been hit by a vehicle, but she was unable to say where the incident occurred.
Garrett said officers later located her shoes in the 900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The incident is under investigation, Garrett said.
