Branson Roshawn “Shawn” Woods, 20, was arrested on Thursday for the second time in one week.
Thursday, he walked into an apartment at George Wright Homes on Southwest Seventh Street, where Brijonne Rashad Woods, 24, had just been taken into custody on an outstanding aggravated robbery warrant out of Tarrant County, police department spokesman Curtis Garrett said.
It was found that Shawn Woods was wanted on a felony criminal mischief warrant (more than $1,500, less than $20,000), so both were booked into jail. Both were held without bond.
The address for both individuals was listed in Lamar County Jail records as 1100 NE 3rd St.
Among the six other arrests on Thursday, as police responded to 89 calls for service, were:
Deshawn Antarus Alexander, 19, of 3009 Carson Lane, possession of marijuana, less than 2 ounces in a drug-free zone, released on $1,500 bond.
Jami Christyne Comstock, 28, of 6494 S. U.S. 271, Pattonville, failure to identify, fugitive giving false information. Bond of $1,500 set on each charge.
Leonard Thomas Molaris Jr., 50, of 422 County Road 45030, Poderly, evading arrest or detention; theft of property (more than $50, less than $500). Bond set at $2,000 on the first charge, $1,500 on the second charge.
