Paris Police responded to the report of a kidnapping in the 10 block of NW 23rd Street on Wednesday, according to Paris PD Public Information Officer Curtis Garrett.
Officers were advised by a 43-year-old female that for the past few days she had possibly been given some type of narcotics and was being held against her will.
According to police, the victim stated that someone had removed the inside door lock and she had no recollection of the past few days. This incident is under investigation.
Of the 83 calls for service on Wednesday, January 09, one Burglary of a Business and two Burglary of Automobiles were reported. There were only three misdemeanor arrests made.
