Three Paris residents victimized by Credit/Debit card theft, Paris PD Press Release – December 14

Three Paris residents reported that someone had fraudulently used their credit/debit cards at various Wal-Mart stores in or around the Daphne and Mobile, Alabama area, according to Paris Police Public Information Officer Curtis Garrett.

The transactions occurred on different days and at different times.  All three victims bank at the same bank here in Paris. The incidents are under invesatigation.

Anthony Lance Stockton, 43, of Cooper, and Denise Ann Tarpley, 45, of Klondike, were arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana when they were stopped for minor traffic violations, when the narcotics were found inside their vehicle.

Paris Police responded to 82 calls for service and made 7 arrests on December 13, 2012.
