A man was found robbed and badly injured from an attack in the early morning hours of Thursday, according to Paris Police Chief, Bob Hundley.
At 4:15am on Thursday morning, a 9-1-1 caller informed police that he had found an injured man on the side of the road in the 900 block of NE 1st Street.
Responding officers found twenty-four year old, Xavier Montgomery, in a private vehicle. According to police, he had several lacerations and abrasions, but complained of his right shoulder being the worst of his injuries. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Police investigation discovered that he had been attacked by two men, who beat him and took his shoes, necklace and wallet during the attack, according to Chief Hundley. Officers were able to later locate some of the items taken from him.
Although Montgomery told officers that he was familiar with the two men, he was unsure of their names.
No arrests were made and investigation continues.
