Over the past 24 hours, 6 people were arrested in the City of Paris. The following charges were filed; 1 Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Violence with previous conviction, 1 for Burglary of a Residence, 1 on an Emergency Detention, and 3 on Municipal Court warrants.

21 year old Cam Aaron Preston of Paris was arrested in the 200 blk of W Plum St. on July 17, 2012 when it was reported that he and his wife had been in an altercation. It was reported that Preston had assaulted his wife in the altercation. It was later found that Preston had been arrested on a previous occasion for a similar offense and therefore this charge was enhanced to a felony.
Also arrested on July 17, 2012 was 21 year old Dominique Mitchell when he was observed taking a bicycle from an open garage in the 500 blk of NE 33rd St. Mitchell admitted to taking the bicycle from the garage and was charged with Burglary of a Residence.
On July 17, 2012, Officers responded to 82 calls for service.
