Man robbed at gunpoint

Just after 1am on Friday morning, Jonathan Young reported to police that he had been robbed — at gunpoint — by two suspects with bandana masks.

The victim advised police that, while in the Oak Park parking lot, two black males approached him, wearing white bandanas on their faces and each with a gun in hand, in an attempt to rob him, according to Paris Police Chief Bob Hundley.

Young described the suspects as tall and in their late teens or early twenties.  They were seen driving a red Dodge Neon, but no direction of travel was clarified, nor was the license plate made out on the vehicle.

There were no injuries or shots fired during the armed robbery.

If you have any information that could lead to the arrest or location of these unknown perpetrators, please contact the Paris Police Department or Lamar County Crime Stoppers at (903) 785-TIPS.
