Lamar County Crime Stoppers ask for help solving the Burglary of a residence in Powderly

The Lamar County Sheriff’s Department is asking for you help in solving a burglary of a residence that occurred in the Powderly area.

On June 11, 2012, it was reported to the Lamar County Sheriff’s Department that an unknown person or persons entered a residence through the roof in the Powderly area and stole several guns. Listed were a Savage Edge 22-250 rifle with a 3x9x40 scope, a Marlin 30-30-rifle, a Taurus PT100 stainless .40 cal pistol, a Remington 870 Express camo dipped shotgun and a Henry lever action .22mag rifle.
