During a mostly routine 24 hour period, 7 arrests were made, 2 for Unauthorized Use Motor Vehicle, 1 for Criminal Trespass, 2 for Disorderly Conduct/Fighting, 1 for Motion to Revoke Probation and 1 for traffic.

Officers of the Paris Police Department observed a vehicle in the 600 block of S Collegiate with Ohio license plates and upon having dispatch check the plates for stolen, it was found that the vehicle had been reported stolen out of New Mexico. The vehicle was occupied 4 persons. Arrested were Kevin Ely, 42 from Sumner and Patricia Carabajal, 32 of Sumner. Carabajal was reported to be the ex-wife of the vehicle’s owner. There were no charges filed against the other two passengers.
