Paris Police Make 2 Arrests Relate to Previous Robberies

On January 07, 2012, Xavier Desjuan Hall, a 20 year old Paris man, came to the Police Department and turned himself in on a warrant that stemmed from the report of the Robbery in the 1900 block of Lamar Avenue on January 04, 2012. Hall was arrested without incident.
On January 06, 2012, 17 year old Tyquan Marquis Hall was arrested on a warrant that stemmed from the reported robbery on December 30, 2011. He was also arrested without incident.
A motor vehicle accident occurred at about 8:13pm on January 07, 2012 involving a tractor trailer rig and a chartered bus. The report shows that the tractor-trailer rig was southbound in the 2000 block of Southwest 19th Street and failed to yield right of way at a stop sign. The tractor-trailer rig pulled out in front of the bus. The bus was traveling eastbound in the 2700 block of South West Loop 286. The bus was carrying 43 passengers including the driver. There were nine reported injuries but only one person was transported to the hospital.

Over his career, Richards’ interview subjects include Alabama Gov. George Wallace, President Bill Clinton, President George W. Bush, David Koresh, Arnold Palmer, Muhammad Ali and numerous other political and sports figures. He is an alumnus of Texas Tech, where he was editor of the school newspaper. He lives in Paris with his wife, Barbara, who is retired after 30 years as a teacher and high school counselor.
