Law Enforcement Asks for Public's Help in Solving Six Homicides

Crime Stoppers Logo. 300 dpiLocal law enforcement needs your continued help in solving several murders in the Paris, Lamar County and Red River County areas.

Over the past 13 months, six individual have died as a result of homicidal violence.

These individual victims and their families deserve justice, and the persons responsible need to be held accountable for these crimes.

If you have information that may assist investigators in establishing the timelines between the times when these individuals were last seen and when they were found deceased, no matter how insignificant you think it may be, you are urged to contact Crime Stoppers with that information.

On June 13, 2013, Tremaine Kellum was found deceased near Roxton. Kellum was reported missing to the Paris Police Department on June 10, 2013 and was reported to have last been seen around 9 P.M. on June 8th.

On October 9, 2013, at about 11:22 P.M., Brijonne Rashad Woods, Romello Dewain Steward, Devante Laray Akins, and Billy Charles Carey were found deceased in a residence on NE 6th Street in Paris. Witnesses confirmed that these men were alive approximately 30 minutes prior to their bodies being discovered.

On April 30, 2014, Troy Gray was found deceased in Red River County. Gray was reported missing to the Paris Police Department on April 12th, 2014 and had last been seen on April 11th at about 2 A.M. in Paris.

At this time, investigators have not said whether or not any of these murders are linked together.
