Paris Police Arrests June 3, 2014
A traffic stop for failing signal a lane change resulted in the arrest of Robert Daugherty, 59 of Paris. Charged with failing to signal, Mr. Daugherty was also charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor possession of a dangerous rug. After arrival at the jail, Daugherty complained of having a stroke and was transported to a hospital for evaluation before being placed in jail.
Officers responded to a welfare check on a person sleeping on the sidewalk in the 500 block of 10th NE. Officers made contact with a Tiffany Robinson 24, of Paris and found her to be in possession of synthetic marijuana. She was charged with being in possession of a controlled substance that is not listed in a Health and Safety Code penalty group.
Two other persons were arrested on warrants, misdemeanor traffic and a parole warrant and one arrested on a public intoxication charge. Those arrested include:
